Privacy Notice
Flux provides business organisation and planning tools for small and medium-sized businesses. This notice explains what Flux collects, why it is used, where it is processed, and the choices available to account holders.
Data we collect
- Account identity: name, primary email, Clerk user identifier, verification state, and session security metadata.
- Profile and company setup: role, company name, company size, industry, business type, currency, language, age, and gender preference when voluntarily supplied.
- Workspace records: employees, payroll inputs and outputs, invoices, expenses, analytics projects, settings, notifications, saved history, and exports created by the user.
- Operational data: tool used, action type, timestamps, error reference IDs, and limited admin telemetry needed for security and support.
- Support messages: the content and contact details a person chooses to send to support.
Why we use it
We use data to authenticate accounts, provide workspace features, keep records separated by workspace, save user-requested work, generate exports, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and respond to support requests. We do not collect card numbers, payment credentials, government IDs, bank-account information, medical data, or biometric data for the current product.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Clerk provides authentication. Netlify hosts the website and server functions. Workspace persistence uses protected server-side storage and workspace-scoped database records where configured. Hosting and authentication providers may process data in countries outside Cambodia. Flux does not sell customer data.
Security and access
Protected functions verify authenticated sessions, resolve workspace ownership server-side, apply origin and request guards, and avoid exposing secrets in responses. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Storage encryption and backup controls depend on the configured hosting/database provider; Flux does not claim a security certification.
Retention
Account and workspace records are kept while the account or workspace is active, unless a shorter deletion request is completed. Security and audit records may be retained for a limited period needed to investigate abuse or protect the service. Backups may persist for a short recovery window before rotation. See Data Retention and Deletion for the current process.
Your choices
Users may review and correct profile or workspace information through available settings, export records through supported tool controls, delete saved records where the tool provides deletion, close an account, or request an account-data export or deletion through support. Deletion explains what will be removed and what may remain temporarily in protected backups.
Children, advice, and changes
Flux is intended for business users and is not designed for children. Flux provides business organisation and planning tools; it does not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice. This notice may be updated when the product or its providers change.
